Sales Page
As of November 2024 - we currently do have active sales of does but no babies for sale. I am downsizing my herd and invite inquiries by potential buyers to email me at info@flgfarms.com
Please check the planned breedings page for information if you are interested in any of our upcoming kiddings.
Sales from our farm come with goats that are fully up to date on their vaccinations, hoof trimming, worming, copper bolus (done twice a year) and BoSe vaccinations (also done twice a year). You will receive a full profile on their medical history, weight history, and history of famacha scores.
PRICING TERMS - There is a discount when multiple goats are purchased. We prefer to sell in sets of two or more so that the goats will acclimate to their new home with a familiar friend. Baby bottles are only available in a situation where a doe has kidded multiples and cannot maintain all of them, or if a baby is rejected. These babies will be priced independently of the following pricing schedule.
Prices include the following: babies who are weaned at 8 weeks or older, have been disbudded (if not polled), have been vaccinated with series of CD&T, given coccidiosis prevention, and who are in good health at the time of sale. Because we electronically maintain all health records, we will also be sure to send this information with the buyer. If selected, castrated males will have had a surgical castration performed at least 3 days prior to rehoming. We do not band. If purchasing a registered goat, paperwork to register and direct transfer to new owner will be done once payment in full has been received. Vet checks can be conducted at the expense of the buyer. Generally, this is a $50 additional fee.
Boys wethered (castrated) for pet purposes are priced at $150.00.
Unregistered, intact males: $175.00
Unregistered doelings: $250.00
Registered bucklings: Start at $250.00
Registered doelings: Start at $350.00
Adult does and bucks are priced independently based on the quality of animal, their kidding history, and genetic traits (i.e. polled, wattles, blue eyes, and genetic history).
Please note, our prices reflect the immense amount of work we put into our farm and into our animals. Our herd consists on a diet of 14% grain (Deal Rite Mills Go-Goat formula), free choice hay, and pasture. They are given free choice minerals (with copper), receive twice a year COWP boluses, twice a year BoSe injections, annual CD&T vaccinations, and Replamin gel plus as needed. Hooves are maintained year round, weights are check and logged at least three times yearly and worming is done as needed in accordance with FAMACHA and body scores. We use wormers conservatively but in combination as evidence suggests this is more effective than single wormers alone. If you think that this sounds like we pamper our goats - we do.
RESERVATION AND SALE TERMS FORM: If you would be interested in kid's from our upcoming kidding season, please send us an email. We will put you on our list to contact once babies are on the ground and we know what we will have available. We will contact interested buyers in the order we receive interest from. Once buyer is contacted, a deposit will be required to hold the kid of choice. Please see our sales terms page for more details. All potential buyers will be required to complete a goat adoption form. This will be sent to potential buyers once a goat has become available for purchase. We maintain the right to refuse buyers if we feel that our questions about the goat's location is not fenced appropriately, adequate shelter and/or proper nutrition and upkeep is not available.
Should you be interested in starting a goat herd but have no experience - NO WORRIES - we can and want to help. Please contact us to schedule a "Farm 101" class. This class costs $40, lasts usually a little more than an hour, covers worming, hoof trimming, housing, fencing, and general health care. Adults and responsible, mature older children are invited to take the class. Please note that this is not a farm/petting zoo tour but rather a class meant to equip new goat owners with a good foundation of knowledge. Please also note that we are much more inclined to sell goats to new owners who have taken this foundational knowledge class. We really like knowing that we are helping new farms start with good information.
